Cireng made from tapioca flour is a typical Indonesian food that I often see and eat, but unfortunately I have never tried making this snack, so today I will try to make a market snack that has been very popular in Indonesia from the past until now.
There are various types of cireng, some are made from crushed tofu, then coated with tapioca flour and fried, but this time I will not make it from tofu, but from tapioca flour, I cook it directly and mix it with several selected spices, then I make the sauce, namely from brown sugar and very spicy red cayenne pepper.
Curious about how I make it, how to make it is very easy I think you can make it, I don't make it in large quantities, because my child doesn't like this cireng, only I like it, while my mother doesn't really like it either, because she can't eat spicy food,

Materials used
1 sheet of spring onion
1 clove of garlic
1/2 tsp pepper
Cuko sauce seasoning
Manufacturing procedure
First, I divided the tapioca flour into two parts, then I cut the spring onions into small pieces, then I put the spring onions into the tapioca flour, one of the flours that I separated earlier, then I ground the fine spices, the onion and pepper until smooth, I also put them into the tapioca flour that I had just mixed.
Next I add a little water to the flour, then I cook the flour until it dries and thickens, After the flour thickens, I lift it and then add it to the tapioca flour that I divided earlier, I knead it until it is mixed.
Next, I shape the dough into small balls and then fry them until they are perfectly cooked.
RESULTS
and this is the result, my homemade cirneg is ready, for 200 grams of flour I only got 1 small plate of this, because I divided the flour into two parts, one part for me to cook and the other part for me to coat, you just need to add more flour if you want more cireng, okay.
The cireng I made is very chewy and soft, dipped in spicy sauce makes it even more delicious when eaten, as I said I only eat it myself so I make it in small portions.
