This recipe is a great one with less effort to prepare but so enjoyable.
So friends today as I went through my weekly meal roaster as I usually do a roaster for meals and recipes, I saw it was potatoes meal day. Thinking of what recipe will suit the evening, marshed potatoes came to mind. And this recipe of mashed potatoes you all will love. A simple recipe that will not take too much of time to prepare but a recipe you will enjoy with your loved ones as evening light dinner.
I love Potatoes and have continued devicing several ways to keep enjoying this root vegetable full of several health benefits. And we can all enjoy this organic plant food either by frying, boiling, pie baking recipe, pudding or mashing and that is what am sharing with you this evening.
Potatoes are considered as root vegetable , good source of vitamin C antioxidants and good source of fiber. Potatoes can help us lower blood suger and aids with digestive system.
To prepare this mashed potatoe recipe we do not need much of an ingredients unless if we choose to prepare it in large quantity to enjoy with family.
Let's see the recipe ingredients and preparation process of making this mashed potatoes
Recipe Ingredients:
1 medium size potatoe
1 small carrot
1 medium size onions
1 cherry tomatoe
3 red chilli peppers
half teaspoon of curry
half teaspoon of thyme
salt to taste
Steps For Preparation:
- I will start this recipe by peeling the potatoes, then cut and chop it in cubes.
- Clean the vegetable, wash and dice them in cubes.
- I will then wash the chopped potatoes and set them on the cooker to cook adding pinch of salt to it.
- Once cooked, I will drain the water, turn it out into a bolw add some margarine and start mashing it with a fork. I will mash the potatoes until it becomes so soft.
- I will then knead it gradually into a dough in the photo you see above.
- I will go on to fry the diced vegetables, adding some spice for flavor, aroma and salt to taste.
- Here is the potatoes in dough form and the fried sauce. So I move on to serve and decorate this beauty to give it creative look it deserves.
