Hope everyone is well. Today I was cooking a delicious curry with potatoes so thought to share with you. I am trying to present each step simply.It is also delicious to eat.
Ingredients :
Potatoes - 4 pcs
Cumin paste - 3 teaspoon
Salt - 1 teaspoon
Turmeric - 1 teaspoon
Green chillies - 10-12 pcs
Tejpat - 2 pcs
Oil - As needed
Cumin - As needed
The methods of making :
Take 4 pcs potatoes. Cut each potato into 4-5 pieces. The thinner the potatoes are cut, the better they will boil and fry. Then the potatoes should be boiled.
Add potatoes to the pan. Add water as needed to boil potatoes. After boiling, discard the thin skin of the potato as it is inedible.
Add oil to the pan. Heat oil on medium heat.After the oil is hot, add cumin as required. Fry cumin for 30 seconds.
Give two bay leaves. Bay leaves will add flavor to the curry. Then add potatoes to the pan. The potatoes should now be fried with the necessary ingredients.
Add salt and turmeric as needed. I used 1 teaspoon salt and 1 teaspoon tumeric.Tumeric will make the color of the curry attractive.
Mix all the ingredients together well. The better they are mixed the more the flavor will increase. Take 2-3 minutes to mix.
Add water as needed after frying the potatoes. No need to add extra water.
Add 10-12 chillies. Not everyone likes chili. So add chilli as needed.
Cover the pan for 2-3 minutes. By this time the potatoes will be boiled. Then open the lid and add cumin paste.
Add 3 teaspoon cumin paste. There is no need to give extra cumin paste. Add 2 teaspoons if desired.
Keep the curry in the pan for another 2 minutes on medium heat.Then take it down.
