Ingredients:
- 2 cups cooked chickpeas.
- 3 tablespoons cocoa powder.
- 3 tablespoons peanut butter.
- 4 tablespoons sugar.
- 1 dash lemon juice.
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder.
- 1 pinch of salt.
- 1 pinch of oil for greasing the tray.
Ingredientes:

- 4 cucharadas de azĂșcar.

All ingredients must be processed. In the video I watched, a wide food processor with large blades was used. Since I don't have that utensil, I first blended the chickpeas little by little and added the peanut butter.
Se deben procesar todos los ingredientes. En el video que vi se usĂł una procesadora ancha de cuchillas grandes, como no tengo ese utensilio, primero licuĂ© los garbanzos poco a poco y añadĂ la mantequilla de manĂ.
Since the blending process was becoming complicated, I decided to add the mixture to a bowl. The good thing was that the chickpeas had already been processed.
I mixed the ingredients with a spoon, combining everything: the sugar, cocoa, pinch of salt, and dash of lemon juice with the baking powder. I mixed the latter two together before adding them to the mixture.
Debido a que el proceso de licuado se estaba complicando, decidĂ agregar la mezcla a un bol, lo bueno es que ya se habĂa procesado el garbanzo.
Fui mezclando los ingredientes con una cucharada e integrando todos, el azĂșcar, el cacao, la pizca de sal y el chorrito de limĂłn con el polvo de hornear, estos dos Ășltimos los mezclĂ© previamente antes de agregar a la mezcla.
The mixture was less thick than the one I saw in the video, probably because they added dates, which, in addition to their natural sweetness and other benefits, also help with consistency. However, I used sugar.
I greased the tray and added the mixture in portions, shaping it with a plastic mold I made with the end of a small glass.
La mezcla quedĂł con menos consistencia que la que vi en el video, seguramente porque añadieron dĂĄtiles, lo que ademĂĄs de dulzor natural y otros beneficios, tambiĂ©n ayuda en la consistencia, sin embargo yo he usado azĂșcar.
Engrasé la bandeja y agregué la mezcla por porciones dando forma con un molde de plåstico que hice con el extremo de una vasito.
With the oven preheated to about 170°C, I baked the cookies for about 20 minutes, making sure they didn't burn because they can do so quickly, so you have to keep an eye on them.
Let them cool before removing them from the tray because when they are hot they can break easily.
The result: delicious, soft, and chocolatey.
Con el horno precalentado a unos 170°C, horneé las galletas por unos 20 minutos cuidando de que no se fuesen a quemar porque pueden hacerlo råpido, asà que hay que estar pendiente.
Se dejan enfriar antes de retirar de la bandeja pues estando calientes se pueden quebrar fĂĄcilmente.
El resultado: exquisito, suave y chocolatoso.
