I am very pleased to write to you and participate again in an edition of CCC`s Street Art Contest that
organizes every week.
This is my third participation in the contest after getting a taste for photographing the multitude of urban art that surrounds us and especially in cities like the one I am in these days for work reasons, which is the city of Valladolid, which is located 200 km from Madrid. Because I have not been able to visit all the murals of the city, for those interested in the multitude of existing murals I leave this link that allows you to know the commitment to urban art that have had this city.
This work of art is located in the street López Gómez Nº24 in the city of Valladolid. This mural or better said work of art is the painter and muralist Eva Mena, of which I leave a link for those interested in discovering her work both indoor and outdoor.
The mural depicts a woman with a brown skin tone and a bird circling her head. One of its wings protrudes from the other side of her head. After researching the name of the mural, I suspect that the bird is the symbol of freedom and that by surrounding the woman of an ethnic minority in the city of Valladolid it orients her to look only forward or towards the future with the hope that there will be a more tolerant society with greater respect.
I hope you like my contribution to the contest and I hope to return soon to Valladolid to bring you more murals of this wonderful city that has opted for urban art.
Regards.
