The Calzones had a poor showing this time around with only 49 scheduled battles. I'm not sure if everyone was out trying to enjoy the nice weather, but hopefully we will bounce back with a full regiment next Brawl?
| Thaddius v Thaddius — This was a tough loss. Anytime I lose to fatigue is rough, but especially if my opponent has the lower level summoner. This one is worth a deeper look. Loss (0—1) |  |

| Hindsight is 20/20, but moving Witch of Warwick to the back moved my chance of winning from 0% to 47%. In my defense, in the blind I was attempting to protect Warwick from Sneak attacks. | Oddly enough removing the Gladius card entirely from the battle and opting for Silent Sha-Vi instead would have led to a 100% chance of victory 🤷♂ It's tempting to lean on the Gladius cards, but they aren't the best choice for every situation. |
| Obsidian v Sloan — What's better than getting ot use Quora? Using Grund in front of her 😀 I took a risk not using any fliers with the earthquake ruleset, but I had enough helaing to take the win. Win (1—1) |  |
| Kelya v Jacek — After facing off against Jacek in a Brawl for the first time last week, the second one came up early this Brawl. I was given the chance to use my new Relenor card and he procedded to miss on both his attacks 🙄 Win (2—1) |  |
| Tarsa v Quix — My favorite combo, Grum and Chimney! I'm not sure what my opponents thinking was opting for Quix over Tarsa unless they don't have a leveled up Tarsa? My extra oompf from Tarsa's buffs handed me the win. Win (3—1) |  |
| Kelya v Obsidain — I always get concerned when I see Obsidian up against my Kelya led teams. The armor buff tends to become negligible. Thankfully my team hit hard, but Relenor missed again. Not a good start for my new card 🤣Win (4—1) |  |
| Obsidain v Obsidain — My opponent made me wait until the end on this one and outclassed me with a level three Obsidain vs my level two. I still had some hope with a nice Grund and Quora combo, but I couldn't pull out the victory. My opponent used a nice Mycellic and SPirit Hoarder combo that gave them more healing than I could overcome. Loss (4—2) |  |
🤷♂🤷♂ 4—2. I will always celebrate a winning record, but with the poor turnout across the guild it is hard to be too excited about it 🤷♂🤷♂

As with most activities connected to Hive, and the crypto world in general, I discovered PIZZA because of Splinterlands. Also like most Hive connected activities I discovered a world of possibilities beyond what I expected. So what exactly is PIZZA?
