A few months ago I shared with you in this post that I had started taking hydrolyzed collagen, under medical treatment, as a necessary supplement to contribute to the care of my joints, muscles and skin.
When I purchased the collagen, I could only get it in tangerine flavor, which I must admit I really like, it is refreshing and a bit sweet tasting. however, this flavor is limiting because I cannot mix it with other beverages I enjoy throughout the day.
In my search for an unflavored collagen, I bought this one that was recommended to me by a friend and I want to share it with you today.

Hace unos meses compartí con ustedes en esta publicación que había comenzado a tomar colágeno hidrolizado, bajo tratamiento médico, como un suplemento necesario para contribuir al cuidado de mis articulaciones, músculos y piel.
Al comprar el colágeno, sólo pude conseguirlo con sabor a mandarina, lo cual debo admitir que me gusta mucho, pues es refrescante y de sabor un poco dulce. Sin embargo, este sabor es limitante porque no puedo mezclarlo con otras bebidas que disfruto a lo largo del día.
En mi búsqueda de un colágeno sin sabor, compré este que me recomendó una amiga y quiero compartirles hoy.

This is a hydrolyzed collagen of porcine origin, manufactured by the company Químicos Campota. The package I bought is 1/2 pound, that is, 250 grams. It is a powder with neutral odor and flavor, soluble in water.
The fact that it was neutral flavored was a plus for me to buy it, since I could mix it with coffee, green smoothies, teas and other beverages.
I started adding a teaspoon of powder to my coffee in the mornings, and I must say it was easy to incorporate into my daily routine. I will try this neutral flavored collagen, later on, also with the green juices that I like so much. This way, I will have many benefits in one drink.
After taking the tangerine flavored collagen for two months, I started to notice changes in my skin, my nails, my hair, and I even felt better about the pain that used to bother my knees when going up and down stairs.
Because of this, there is no other option, I will continue to take hydrolyzed collagen. Hence, my interest in getting one without any flavor that would open up a range of more possibilities for me to take it. Best of all, I have not experienced any negative side effects.
Este es un colágeno hidrolizado de origen porcino, elaborado por la empresa Químicos Campota. El empaque que compré es de 1/2 libra, es decir, 250 grs. Es un polvo con olor y sabor neutro, soluble en agua.
El hecho de que fuera de sabor neutro fue un punto a favor para comprarlo, puesto que podía mezclarlo con café, con los batidos verdes, con tés y otras bebidas.
Empecé a agregar una cucharadita en polvo a mi café por las mañanas, y debo decir que fue fácil de incorporar a mi rutina diaria. Probaré este colágeno de sabor neutro, más adelante, también con los jugos verdes que tanto me gustan. Así, tendré muchos beneficios en una sola bebida.
Después de estar tomando el colágeno con sabor a mandarina por dos meses, empecé a notar cambios en mi piel, en mis uñas, en mi cabello, incluso me he sentido mejor del dolor que me molestaba en las rodillas al bajar y subir escaleras.
Por esto, no hay otra opción, seguiré tomando colágeno hidrolizado. De ahí, mi interés por conseguir uno sin ningún tipo de sabor que me abriera un abanico de más posibilidades para tomarlo. Lo mejor de todo es que no he experimentado ningún efecto secundario negativo.
I am very happy with my experience taking hydrolyzed collagen, either tangerine flavored like the first one I bought and will continue to take, or unflavored like this one I am trying recently. Both are part of my care and wellness routine.
Estoy muy contenta con mi experiencia tomando colágeno hidrolizado, ya sea con sabor a mandarina como el primero que compré y seguiré tomando, o sin sabor como este que estoy probando recientemente. Los dos forman parte de mi rutina de cuidado y bienestar.
