Hoy estoy contenta porque se me ocurrió algo que llevaba tiempo queriendo hacer: crear un isotipo que me representara a mí. Antes les había contado sobre mi idea de hacer un logo para una marca ficticia que estaba desarrollando. Pero hoy decidí dar un paso diferente. Estaba trabajando en mi tarjeta de presentación y quería agregarle algo más personal un isotipo con mi nombre que fuera mío de verdad.
La idea llegó sola. Primero la dibujé en papel para no perderla, y después usé un generador de imágenes para darle forma. El primer resultado que obtuve me encantó, cosa que no siempre pasa.
Este no es el resultado final — todavía voy a seguir trabajando en él hasta lograr algo más pulido. Pero por ahora estoy satisfecha con lo que tengo y con haber dado ese primer paso.
A veces solo hace falta empezar con un boceto en papel.
Today I'm happy because I came up with something I'd been wanting to do for a while: create an isotype that represented me.
I had told you before about my idea of making a logo for a fictional brand I was developing. But today I decided to take a different step. I was working on my business card and wanted to add something more personal an isotype with my name that was truly mine.
The idea came on its own. First I sketched it on paper so I wouldn't lose it, and then I used an image generator to give it shape. The first result I got I loved, which doesn't always happen.
This isn't the final result. I'm still going to keep working on it until I get something more polished. But for now I'm satisfied with what I have and with having taken that first step.
Sometimes you just need to start with a sketch on paper.
