¡Hola amigos!! ¿Como han estado? Espero que muy bien, con buena salud y mucha prosperidad, como siempre deseándoles y deseándonos a todos lo mejor, por este lado del mundo, la Isla, estamos bien gracias a Dios, con días nublados y lluviosos, hace bastante frío, lo cual es extraño, pues en Semana Santa normalmente hace mucho calor, y aun ese calor no llega jajaja, pero se agradece el clima fresco.
Como lo he mencionado algunas veces, en nuestro jardín tenemos tres árboles, uno de mango, otro de mamón y el tercero es de Merey, jamás pensé tener uno tan cerca jaja, lo que me encanta de cuando va a dar sus frutos son las aves que suelen venir a comer, por qué del resto, no es tan bonito la verdad, los carros se manchan de su fruta, el olor a pies sudados de la fruta es un poco molesto jajaja aunque, conocemos personas que aman la fruta del merey así huela a pie sudado, así que cuando comienza a florecer es momento de pensar en quienes quieren bolsas repletas de esta fruta, según los vecinos, la fruta del merey es muy buena para curar gripe o cualquier molestia de garganta.
Lo bueno es que vienen distintas aves a comerse los mereys, entre ellos, los loros!! Este árbol da frutos dos veces al año, el año pasado dio frutos casi tres meses, no se si esta vez sea igual, más, ya tenemos una semana con visitas constantes de nuestros amigos los loros, por lo que trato de no perder la oportunidad de fotografiarlos y admirarlos, crecí viendo loros en mi familia materna, así que les tengo un gran aprecio, mis gatos están acostumbrados a ellos, en un principio intentaban cazarlos, pero los loros se movían a ramas más delgadas como burlándose de mis gatos jajaja, así que con el tiempo entendieron que ellos son comen y se van.
Espero que les gusten estas lindas fotos, este loro en particular estaba muy adentro, se me hizo difícil tomarle fotos, aun así, logre hacer algunas mientras comía muy a gusto, me despido deseándoles nuevamente un día exitoso y próspero, hasta pronto!.

Here on this side of the world, on the island, we're doing well, thank God. The days have been cloudy and rainy, and it's quite cold, which is unusual, since it's normally very hot during Holy Week, and that heat hasn't arrived yet, haha. But the cool weather is welcome.
As I've mentioned a few times, we have three trees in our garden: a mango tree, a mamoncillo tree, and a cashew tree. I never thought we'd have one so close, haha. What I love about it when it's about to bear fruit are the birds that come to eat it. Otherwise, it's not so great, to be honest. Cars get stained with the fruit, and the smell of sweaty feet is a bit annoying, haha. Although, we know people who love cashew fruit even with the sweaty smell. So, when it starts to bloom, it's time to think about who wants bags full of it. According to the neighbors, cashew fruit is very good for curing the flu or any sore throat.
The good thing is that different birds come to eat the cashews, including parrots! This tree bears fruit twice a year. Last year it bore fruit for almost three months; I don't know if it will be the same this year. We've already had constant visits from our parrot friends for a week, so I try not to miss the opportunity to photograph and admire them. I grew up seeing parrots in my mother's family, so I have a great affection for them. My cats are used to them. At first, they tried to hunt them, but the parrots moved to thinner branches, almost as if mocking my cats, haha. So, over time, they understood that they eat and leave.
