Hi, I'm going to write about my running activities again. Today, I'm going to write about two running activities I did on 26 January and 30 January 2026. These were two enjoyable running activities I did at the end of January.
How could it not be? The issue of weather modification causing continuous rain here has been resolved. So, in the last few weeks, those of us in Jakarta and the surrounding areas have been getting a fair amount of sunshine. On 26 January, I started a bit late, around 4:16 pm. That was 17 minutes later than usual. I started running at a pace of around 6:58 per kilometre, then increased to around 7 per kilometre until the end. This is my comfortable pace. So, I really enjoyed running and taking in the beautiful lake scenery as usual. I finished the run in 52:42 minutes, covering a total distance of 7.03 kilometres with an average pace of 7:29. This is good and more stable than usual.
Then, on the second run on 30 January, it was almost the same as the previous run, starting at a pace of around six and ending at a pace of around seven. However, for this second run, I only ran 5.03 kilometres with a total time of 36:47 and an average pace of 7:19. Isn't my pace always stable at that number from run to run? And I don't know, I don't have any plans to achieve a smaller personal best yet. I'm just determined to be consistent again at least twice a week.
After running, I usually still have to walk about 500 metres to cool down and sit for a while around the lake. I see many things: cats, rubber boats used by the safety team, fallen trees, and people busy fishing.
Meanwhile, I sit, observe, drink the mineral water I carry in my soft flask, and take selfies. After this, I plan to buy coconut water to replenish my lost energy. It’s so refreshing to imagine pure coconut water quenching my thirsty throat. So, that’s the entry in my #running2026 journal. See you on the next run—don’t forget to keep moving and stay healthy. See you…!
Hi, I am the child of the universe, I like to read books with various genres. I was born in the city of batik but can't draw batik yet. I want to be a novelist, but my works are only short poems that are included in anthology books.
