I have been to Sweden thrice. In all these three visits, my second visit of six months in 2012 was the best of all. It was actually my trip to food land, I have never visited so many restaurants in my whole life as much as I visited in these six months. Well, coming back to the main topic, in all of those restaurants, particularly talking about Indian restaurants, RAJDOOT was my favorite.
For the first time, when we went there, the smell of spices and curries just made me mad. The essence of those delicious meals were not just in the restaurant, but it was all over the street. This smell of it reminds me of my childhood restaurant in Nepal, we used to like that too much. Due to this similarity, I was crazy about their food.
The owner of restaurant was a friend of . He is such a lovely and simple person. Actually, my bro has designed his web page and handle social media channels of this restaurant. I donβt know much about the deal but my focus was on the food. He prepared some nice curry and karahi with some perfect Naans (bread). My bro took some pictures of the food and then I took some pictures inside my stomach of that food hehehe. I loved the food there. It was extraordinary. Although, my bro didnβt like the food that much but I just became the fan of his taste.
We had lunch and dinner there several times but not with family, just me and my bro. On the occasion of my broβs birthday, we went there with family. Kids were overjoyed because they also like this restaurant. The atmosphere inside the restaurant is really nice. Designed and decorated very well according to the needs of an Indian Restaurant.
I remember that we never ordered through Menu, whatever is best in the kitchen, he served us with all of that. That mouthwatering smell and taste makes me mad.
Food was served with some awesome curries, karahi, biryani and Naan. I really like the texture of the food, appropriate amount of spices and chicken was juicy, filled with creamy taste. Naan were perfectly baked as always, nothing wrong about the food.
We enjoyed our meal and took some pictures with the kids.
The shocking news is that it is showing permanently closed on Google search and no activity on their social media pages. Means the food Mela from that street is closed. But I have some awesome memories of this restaurant and I hope he would be rocking and making others happy through his food at some other place of the world.
