Hello my dear Hiveans, May everyone have a wonderful day.
Busiest Day
Saturday and Sunday is our busiest day since my husband is pastoring a church. Last Saturday we got a chance to go to Carcar City to look for a mat for our fur babies. An absorbent mat so their pee will be absorbed and not go through the floor. After everything was set our workers went on visitation while my nephew was the one who would take care of the puppies. We leave our house at exactly 9:00 a.m.
Road work at San Fernando
On our way
On our way when we reach San Fernando traffic starts to build up.
There are lots of road works, they started working in this place and then moved to another place but have not finished yet. I took some pictures of the unfinished road works and there are a lot of even when we reach Carcar. And it causes road build-up.

We Arrived
At last, after an hour we arrived in Carcar City, We parked our car at Gaisano Grand Mall and went to Progress to look for a mat. Thank God we found it and because I'm overwhelmed I forgot to take a picture. After that, we went inside the Gaisano to look for a cable tie. As we were looking for the hardware area we came across this big Santa Claus, there is a fat and thin Santa Claus. I pose and my husband takes a picture of me. Then not very far We've seen these cute figurines of Santa. Christmas is in the air.

After buying some stuff we felt hungry but it was too early for lunch. We have our snacks first. My husband ordered pizza and I ordered Takoyaki with hyped mango which I love the taste.

Heritage sites
After having our snacks we drove to the market and we passed by on these Spanish Types of houses. Carcar is still rich in historical houses which were built during the 1800s. History believes that middle-class Filipinos lived there. It's a little bit creepy as you can see. Then we passed on their Rotunda as a crossroads to town farther south and southwest coast, built
during 1920's. There stood a two-sculpted woman on top of a gazebo.

The Chicharon and Lechon
Then we reach their Chicharon and Lechon place. There are lots of Lechon or Roasted pork in every store. Chicharon was also anywhere, in stalls or in every vendor that would come up to you and entice you to buy. They also have Ampao, Boquillas, and peanuts. You cannot resist their sales talk, and not only one vendor but many of them selling the same. LOL
Heading home
After buying Lechon for our dinner we decided to go back home. It was about 11:30 am and we should have been home early cause I hadn't prepared lunch for our puppies. When we reach Perrelos Carcar there are lots of displayed fruits on the road from Mindanao. They have lanzones, mangosteen, durian, and rambutan at a cheaper price and I forgot to take pictures of them. So I bought some just for us and continued driving home.
Our day went well, it may not be romantic but we enjoyed talking while driving. We ate together and laughed at each other on the road. That is one of the most essential parts of a relationship. Spending time together made the bonds get stronger.
That's all for today, may you enjoy my story. Have a great day, see you in my next blog.
