My journey to #Bangkok was a rich tapestry of experiences. I represented my organization at a pivotal international conference. It was an enriching experience, brimming with insightful discussions and significant professional growth, and I immensely grateful to my organization for such opportunity. Yet, amid the demanding conference agenda, the true heart of my trip was the joyful reunion with a dear friend. Witnessing her impactful work and thriving life at #UNESCO in Bangkok filled me with immense pride and happiness. We shared stories, revisited cherished memories, and naturally, savored the incredible local flavors. Of course, we didn't fail to mention the person who was the reason for her transferring in this better workplace.
The vibrant Thai breakfast was also something I missed very much. The succulent sausages, perfectly crispy fried fish generously coated in sweet and sour sauce, tender fried pork, and wonderfully fresh, crisp leafy greens make my mouth salivate whenever I think about these #food.
These intense travel periods, while undeniably enriching and inspiring, inevitably disrupt my usual rhythms. The combination of long flights, packed conference schedules, vibrant late-night conversations, and the exciting exploration of new culinary delights – it's all part of the adventure, but it undeniably taxes the system. That's precisely why, upon returning home, dedicating myself to meal prep becomes non-negotiable. It's my crucial 'reset' button, a way to ensure my body receives the consistent, balanced nourishment it needs to replenish energy, sharpen focus, and prepare me for whatever comes next – be it another enriching international conference or simply a demanding, productive week.
