Hello everyone, trust we're all doing great? I am Idara-abasi Sunday but identifies with the hive username and I am a Nigerian. I'm doing this brief introduction because it's my first time posting here and hope I am welcomed.
I'm here to share the little knowledge I have about building and maintaining a strong relationship and I hope y'all find this piece to be useful and apply it in your daily lives. Firstly, I'll start by saying that in every relationship there's are basic things needed to keep it going.
People often ask, can relationship strive on love alone? No, it can't. Love alone can't keep a relationship because love fades. They'll come a time in a relationship where the physical attributes that attracted you to your partner won't be there anymore, what will keep the relationship then will be attributes like mutual understanding and loyalty.
I know that social media love is deceptive where you'll find the perfect couple and begin to compare it with yours without first asking yourself, is there really a perfect relationship? There's no perfect relationship as we're all flawed. Two imperfect beings comes together to perfect their imperfectiins that's relationship and most times the couples you admire from afar because of the way they portray themselves outside maybe be battling serious emotional distance in the inside because they don't open up to each other and discuss things that brings misunderstanding between them.
Who should apologize first in a relationship? I know there are lots of people who pampers their ego and prefer causing unrest in the relationship rather than apologize and work things out but that's wrong! If there's any misunderstanding, no matter who's at fault. Apologize and work things out rather doing the blame game and waiting for who will apologize first and resolve the conflict. You can actually talk with your partner about it but in the calmest and coolest manner you can, apologize to each other and move on.
It is always right to make peace rather than hold on to things the hurts the heart. With these few tips, I bet you'll enjoy a peaceful marriage and relationship. Thank you for sparing your time to engage on my post, I'm grateful. See you tomorrow where I'll be making my next post.
