For this article I just want to share our Samgyup food trip last Saturday together with my high school friends.
Story time!
I am craving for some Korean food and I told my husband to advance his 13th month pay treat to me since I am craving for Samgyup. It's Saturday when we went to my parents house and I chatted my friends if they want to eat on the newly opened Samgyup place in our town. It's been a couple of months since the last time we eat together and I also shared it here under foodies beehive community.
So we decided to eat after the work of one of my friends and it's like around 6:00 PM. We went to the Samgyup place first and wait to them to arrive. We already entered the place and ordered food while waiting because I'm already starved.
They offering different set of Samgyup but we only ordered the cheapest one 229 pesos which is the unli pork with four flavors of meat , 15 side dishes, cheese and one glass of juice. I added 15 pesos for the unli juice and 29 pesos for the unli cheese.
What I love about this newly opened Samgyup place is they are offering 4 set of pork which is plain , spicy, bulgogi and honey lemon. I am also happy with the 15 side dishes and because of that they stand out on the other samgyup place in our town. Their cheese sauce is also good as it's not made of cornstarch like on the other samgyup place.
They have fish cake. tteokboki , kimbap , kimchi , cucumber, mung bean sprouts, marble potatoes, hotdogs and japchae.
I also love how they added parchment paper on the griller to avoid the stickiness of the pork in the griller.
Here's my friends. They are all blooming and look at me my goodness. This meet up also reminds me to take good care of myself and start to fix myself. I am a stay at home mom but you know I also need to take good care of myself.
I was with my husband during that time as I also want him to experience eating and relaxing with me.
