Saludos, tengo tiempo que no publico por aquí, pero ya volví, esta vez con una pequeña pulsera de plata personalizada con un nombre, esta es para una bebe de un año, el nombre de esta niña es Abir, no la conozco, pero si mi hija y su madre que fueron las que me mandaron a hacer este trabajo, yo puedo decir que soy experto haciendo nombres en plata llevo más de 15 años aprox. haciéndolos, pero para pulseras de bebes casi no hago, en estos casos yo suelo buscar la medida en Pinterest para guiarme, así que para una niña de 1 año la medida estimada es 10 cm, otro reto era buscar la tipografía adecuada, entonces igualmente busque las tipografías para Canvas y salieron varias, se las mande a la mamá de mi hija por Whatsaap y ella escogió....

Una vez escogida la tipografía la hice en el mismo Canvas, copie como imagen y la lleve al programa Inkscape que es el que uso para dibujar y ajustar medidas para imprimir de las piezas que voy a realizar.... Pero siempre hay un pero, ese dia la impresora se quedó sin tinta y tuve que calcar directamente de la pantalla del monitor como pude y luego remarque con un marcador fino.

Ahora si les voy a dar la lista de materiales y herramientas:

• Lámina de plata de 0.8 mm, hilo de plata de 0.8 mm, cadena de plata y caimán o cierre de plata.

• Arco de segueta y sierra o pelo de segueta 2/0.

• Pinzas de joyería.

• Dremel

• Fresas de 0.75 mm para abrir los huecos.

• Lija 3M 280, 360 y 400

• Motor de banco, cera de pulir, mopa de pulir.

PROCESOS

Pegue el dibujo del nombre sobre la lámina con pega blanca y abrí huecos con el Dremel y la fresa de 0.75 mm, estos huecos son para los cortes internos.

Realice los cortes con el uso de la segueta y la sierra nº 2/0, primero corte por las áreas internas y después seguí cortando la silueta exterior, por ultimo quite el papel que tenía pegado.

El nombre en principio no quedo tan definido, con la misma segueta fui corrigiendo, después con la misma sierra de la segueta inclinada sobre el metal hice las líneas de división de las letras. Por último lijé usando el Dremel el nombre, primero con lija 280, después con 360 y por último 400.

Después de pasar lija, toca colocar la cadena, pero antes debía hacer las argollas, agarre un hilo de plata de 0.8 mm, lo entorche con la pinza redonda para generar argollas pequeñas que corte con el arco de segueta, corte la cadena de plata juntando los extremos del nombre con la argolla, en este proceso la pieza completa de con la cadena debía medir de 10 a 12 cm, por último coloqué una argolla y el cierre tipo caimán.

Casi listo, ahora para el acabado Pulí con el motor de banco, la mopa o disco de pulir y cera para darle el acabado brillante.

Como ven a pesar de ser una pulsera sencilla requiere una cantidad de pasos que hasta a mí me impresionan, por eso es tan lindo e interesante el trabajo artesanal o cualquier arte hecho a mano, espero les haya gustado la pulsera de Abir, tanto como la disfrutara esta niña y su familia.

I have been around for more than 15 years. making them, but for baby bracelets I almost don't make them, in these cases I usually look for the measurement on Pinterest to guide me, so for a 1-year-old girl the estimated measurement is 10 cm, another challenge was to find the appropriate font, so I also searched the fonts for Canvas and several came out, I sent them to my daughter's mother on WhatsApp and she chose....

Once the font was chosen, I made it on the same Canvas, copied it as an image and took it to the Inkscape program, which is what I use to draw and adjust measurements to print the pieces that I am going to make.... But there is always a but, That day the printer ran out of ink and I had to trace directly from the monitor screen as best I could and then highlight with a fine marker.

PROCESSES

Make the cuts using the saw and the No. 2/0 saw, first cut through the internal areas and then continue cutting the outer silhouette, finally remove the paper that was stuck to it.

The name at first was not so defined, with the same saw I corrected it, then with the same saw inclined on the metal I made the lines of division of the letters. Finally I sanded the name using the Dremel, first with 280 sandpaper, then with 360 and finally 400.

After sanding, it is time to place the chain, but first I had to make the rings, grab a 0.8 mm silver thread, twist it with the round tweezers to create small rings that I cut with the saw blade, cut the silver chain by joining the ends of the name with the ring, in this process the complete piece with the chain had to measure 10 to 12 cm, lastly I placed a ring and the alligator type closure.

Almost ready, now for the finish. Polish with the bench motor, the mop or polishing disc and wax to give it a shiny finish.
