I hope all of you are doing really well. Alhamdulillah, I am also doing very well.
Today, Iโm going to share a very delicious snack with you all. I make this snack quite often at home, and it tastes incredibly good. Both children and adults love this dish, and everyone in my family really enjoys the potato and chicken balls that I prepare. Thatโs why I make them at home quite frequently.
In the evening, if you have a cup of hot tea with these tasty chicken and potato balls, it feels absolutely wonderful. So come, let me share the recipe with you step by step.
Ingredients:๐ง
1.Potato,
2.Chicken,
3.Fresh green chilies,
4.Onion,
5.Cumin powder,
6.Coriander powder,
7.Garam masala powder,
8.Salt,
9.Red chili powder,
10.Egg,
11.Toasted breadcrumbs / Toast (crushed).
First, wash 3โ4 potatoes well, peel them, and cut them into small pieces. Along with that, wash the chicken properly and cut it into small solid pieces. Then boil both the potatoes and the chicken together with enough water until everything is fully cooked and soft.
Next, take 5โ6 large toast pieces and blend them well in a blender until they become fine crumbs. If you want, you can also use ready-made breadcrumbs instead.
Now, once the potatoes and chicken are fully boiled, drain out the water. Mash the potatoes smoothly with your hand. After that, shred the chicken into small pieces and mix it on top of the mashed potatoes.
Now, add all the ingredients one by one into the mashed potatoes and shredded chicken โ such as chopped onions, green chilies, garam masala powder, red chili powder, salt, coriander powder, and cumin powder โ and mix everything very well until it becomes smooth and evenly combined.
Once the mixture is ready, lightly apply some mustard oil or regular cooking oil to your palms, and shape the potato-and-chicken mixture into any shape you like. But since Iโve named this dish โballs,โ I will shape them into round balls.
Next, dip each ball into the beaten egg, and then coat it well with the toast crumbs so that it forms a nice, thick layer on the outside.
Now, place a frying pan on the stove and keep the flame low. Add a little oil to the pan and fry the balls gently. Since the ingredients inside the balls โ like potatoes and chicken โ are already boiled, there is no need to wait for them to cook again. You only need to fry them until the outside gets a beautiful golden color.
Frying for just 1โ2 minutes is enough.
Thatโs it. Our delicious potato and chicken balls are ready. Trust me, they taste absolutely amazing. You wonโt understand how good they really are unless you try making them at home yourself.
