This week really proved a challenge for fruits and veggies and even though i was able to find six fruits and veggie only one of these fruits is available in our country Australia and this is the Quince fruit and unfortunately this Quince fruit is not in season at the moment in Australia so in order to participate in this weeks hunt for letter "Q" i had to revert myself to taking a quick course of art and patients and slowly each night i drew one of these fruits and finally completed my art degree course this evening so here we go i hope you like my art work 🙂
The Quandong fruit they say is native to Australia by i myself have never seen this fruit it looks pretty in color been a reddish color with a tinge of yellow and although this fruit can be slightly sour it still has a nice sweetness which makes it quite eatable it is also referred to as a native Peach. They say it makes a great fruit juice and this fruit can also be stewed to make pie filling.

The Quince i remember my mum she use to boil this fruit then we would spread the soft flesh of this fruit onto our custard tart pie giving it a custard and apple taste was really a nice flavor mixed together. I also love eating the Quince fruit raw when in season it has a nice aroma and even though this fruit can be a little sour it has the flavor of a apple and a pear mixed in one.

Quenepa fruit is like a small little lime looking fruit same in color as a Lime , light green they say it tastes like a cross between a Lychee and a Lime a little tangy but a sweet flavor and same looking flesh as the Lychee on the inside. Mainly grown in Mexico and Central America and is also know as the Spanish Lime. A great fruit in treating constipation and lowering cholesterol in the body because this fruit is high in fiber and ferulic acid.
