Hive account@barbara-orenya. This time we had to find some words starting with letter "H".
H — Hands / also Head / Hair
So funny to find a head without anything else, isnt it? I found this art somewhere at St.Petersburg yards, I fogrot where exactly it was.
H — Hard
Another word you should be in the know, I am sure! I noticed this scene on the Victory Day at the Victory Park of St.Petersburg. The image is full of contrasts -- the lady is buying a Sugar Cotton Ball which is definitely hard to break, too!
H — Help
I am sure, all of you know this word very well! And the appropriate gesture, as well.
H — Holidays
H — Harmless
This word just stuck in my head, I wanted to share with you something special, but not sure if I succeeded or not. So, here is a toy guns collection -- one can say, they are pretty harmless!
H — Homeless
A homeless wretched old man on the streets of St.Petersburg. Not the most joyful side of life, eh...
H — Holistic ?
Bы знаете, что мысли материализуются? Подозреваю, что я примагнитил к себе это слово. (Ну или просто хорошо смотрел по сторонам, если вы предпочитаете более простое объяснение). На улице мне встретилась тётка, одетая в футболку с этим незнакомым мне словом. Я заинтересовался и спросил, а что написано у вас на футболке? "На ней написано Holistic", - бросила она, не замедляя хода. Что это значит, я узнал только дома. Я не успел сфотографировать ни женщину, ни футболку... А найти нечто иллюстрирующее это слово, оказалось нетривиальной задачей... Вы наверно заметили, что это слово #7. Я добавляю его "экстра", вне конкурса, и без фото.
And this is a new word to myself! Do you know that thoughts can materialize themselve? I suspect that I just pulled, magnetized this word. (Or, if you prefer a simpler explanation, I just watched around very well). On the way out of the store, I met a 40-yrs lady, wearing a T-shirt with inscription 'Holistic' - an unfamiliar word to me! I became interested and asked, what is written on your tee. "Holistic is written on it," she threw to me, without slowing down. What does this mean, I learned only at home. I did not manage to photograph either a woman or her T-shirt ... and finding something to illustrate this word turned out to be a non-trivial task ... If you watched my post carefully, you noticed that this word is number seven. I add it as is, out of the challenge, count that as “extra”.
All the images taken by me, as always. Had no problems with H-stuff at all. Look what other words came to my mind to choose from:
harmonica / harmony / heretic / heritage / hermitage / hermit / hueber / hug / hypnotic / hostel / hedgehog / hotcakes / hotdog / hydraulic / hrafstra / etc.
Those are all good things... (except of hrafstra), but no one can fit an unfittable, right? / Как говорил мой старый наставник-редактор: "Нельзя впихнуть невпихуемое!"
