Today’s artwork by silver.art was made for an exhibition named “Ancient legends and mythology of our nation”. The artist chose one legend about the Bulgarian mountains: “The ancient legend about a young woman named Rila and a man named Pirin who fell in love and had two children. The boy named Iskar, and a girl named Mesta. Their children often argued. Pirin missed from home because he was a hunter. Rila took care of their home and the children. One day the children had argue again. Rila got angry and cursed herself to turn into a rock and the children to be separate from each other and never see again…” this is how the nice story starts. The painting was made with oil on canvas, don’t miss it!
