Su arquitectura y ambientación, Y gastronomía de calidad, tradicional, a la vez ofrecen platos de actualidad, sin gluten, veganos y otras exquisiteces gastronómicas. Además de unos postres que, combinados con ese delicioso café, terminan por conquistar cualquier paladar epicúreo.
Elegimos una mesa que estuviera en un punto estratégico, para poder disfrutar de aquel horizonte marino, mientras tomábamos un refrescante coctel y una limonada preparada con mucha menta y muy fría.
Its architecture and ambiance, and quality, traditional cuisine, while offering contemporary dishes, gluten-free, vegan and other gastronomic delicacies. In addition to desserts that, combined with that delicious coffee, end up conquering any epicurean palate.
We chose a table that was in a strategic point, to be able to enjoy that sea horizon, while we drank a refreshing cocktail and a lemonade prepared with lots of mint and very cold.
Me emocioné tanto, que comencé a tomar fotos y lo mejor fue que no tuve que levantarme de la silla para hacerlo, pues desde allí pude capturar el paisaje completo del balneario, la orilla del mar, el horizonte y los edificios que se alzaban en la costa. Además del paseo y la avenida donde por supuesto no había gran circulación de vehículos porque no era temporada alta. Así que todo conspiró para el disfrute del momento.
I got so excited that I started taking pictures and the best thing was that I didn't have to get up from my chair to do it, because from there I could capture the whole landscape of the resort, the seashore, the horizon and the buildings that stood on the coast. In addition to the promenade and the avenue where of course there was no large traffic of vehicles because it was not high season. So everything conspired for the enjoyment of the moment.
Decidimos, ordenar una pizza de jamón crudo, con rúgula, aceitunas y demás ingredientes, cubierta con queso, lo que la convirtió en un exquisito almuerzo realmente delicioso. Aquel momento nos sirvió para relajarnos, y descansar, pues nos esperaba otra jornada netamente turística.
We decided to order a prosciutto pizza with arugula, olives and other ingredients, topped with cheese, which turned it into an exquisite and delicious lunch. That moment served us to relax and rest, because we had another day of sightseeing ahead of us.
Lo hermoso del lugar invitaba a levantarme para apreciar y traer más recuerdos. Así que me di una vuelta por los salones, donde con real elegancia había unas mesas para celebraciones o reuniones familiares. Un bar que imagino lo llenan en horas de la noche, pero que está decorado con el estilo del resto de los muebles, tapizados en cuero y muy cómodos.
The beauty of the place invited me to get up to appreciate and bring back more memories. So I walked around the lounges, where with real elegance there were tables for celebrations or family gatherings. A bar that I imagine is filled in the evening hours, but is decorated in the style of the rest of the furniture, upholstered in leather and very comfortable.
En sus paredes y rincones, había esculturas y cuadros que mostraban detalles de sus autores, así como una escultura que representa, EL Beso del Amor. En el siguiente recuadro, está la leyenda textual del mismo.

Continúo avanzando hacia otro salón que da hacia una sala de conferencias, y una antesala. Hay una puerta que te conduce a una terraza con vista al mar. Todo muy bien acabado en madera demuestra la antigüedad del restaurante. Sus pisos de madera pulida y cuidada, terrazas con piedras y muebles y lámparas de estilo.
I continue on to another hall that leads to a conference room, and an anteroom. There is a door that leads to a terrace overlooking the sea. Everything very well finished in wood shows the antiquity of the restaurant. Its polished wood floors, terraces with stones and stylish furniture and lamps.
En la entrada que da al salón de conferencias, y para reuniones o fiestas, hay un sillón y frente a él, un gran mueble con libros, objetos y cuadros que cuentan el pasado, historias vividas y objetos, que han quedado con el transcurrir del tiempo. Baldosas, planchas, relojes, un radio, etc. Muestras o huellas del pasado. La historia de Mar del Plata en sus paredes. Qué hermoso lugar elegimos. Espero que este café restaurante sea un sitio para su próxima visita cuando vaya de vacaciones a Mar del Plata. Queda frente a Playa Varese.
