Thursday.
Not too much walking today. 
I've been to the lake a bunch of times now since I first discovered it just five days ago but there's always something new to see, to discover.
Today's discovery was a first in a lifetime for me. There's a bunch of "kingfishers" living by the lake. At least two of them, possibly three or more. We watched them swiftly chasing around on the lake and hiding back in the bushes. They're probably the prettiest bird one can see around this corner of the globe.
Obviously I didn't get a picture of them, they're small and fast and unpredictable, but for illustrative purposes, here's a close up image from wikimedia:
What a sight! Little metallic blue dancers whizzing over the lake revealing a bright rusty orange flash as they make sharp turns.
Who knows, maybe I'll get my own picture for you one day, because I'll definitely spend more time at this magical location.
