Thursday.
Just as the weatherman predicted, early in the morning, before sunrise, the temperatures dipped below freezing for the very first time this winter.
When I got up and saw the fog outside I knew I would have to rush the morning routine in orderto get to the hidden lake in the forbidden forest quickly enough, before the fog would clear up and give way to the sun.
Ever since I found this place, I've been wanting to see these dead trees in the water separated from the background with a nice layer of mist.
I didn't have enough time to stick around and see the sun break through the fog, but I'm happy I made it out there early enough to see the place in a different light today.
