So it has been quite a while since I have been able to do a proper 5K training session. Today was #7 in this series but the last one was a month and a half ago.
That being said, this is my best one yet!
As you can see, I was able to get my pace below 10 minutes, which has been a goal from the start. Not only that, this is the first time I was able to run the entire 3.1 miles.
While I hadn’t been doing these training sessions for the past month and a half I had been running so it’s not like there was no progress and this just happened overnight. It still feels good to know that every little bit has helped along the way.
I’m going to celebrate this for a bit, but I suppose the next goal will be to get that pace under nine minutes and eventually down to eight. It’s going to take some time and effort, but I am absolutely enjoying the process.
