Hello and welcome to today's #actifit activity report¹
Today was a great weather to go cycling and in the early hours of the morning I went exploring in the direction of Petah Tikva.
On my way I passed through Ramat Gan National Park. The park features a Spring Flower Festival. I marked the location of the festival on the map.
The festival is a celebration of spring, art and nature. It includes five big exhibits of ocean themed flower statues. The statues are decorated with diffrent coloured Petunia flowers, other greenery and different colored lights for night time light show. Unfortunately I was not able to visit the festival at night to enjoy the colourful light show.
I visited the festival today and earlier this week, the photos are a compilation of both my visits. In this post I will share my photos of the three statues.
The festival is open to the public and is totaly free. It is a new kind of attraction and I hope it will return next year bigger and better.
These are the photos of the Sea Dragon. It is hard to appreciate the scale of this creation. At the highest the head easily reach a tree meter hight and the body stretches to around 15 meters in length. Notice the fern ridge on the body.
These are the photos of the Octopus. Notice the black Petunia flowers at the base of each tentacle.
These are the photos of the whale with a wide open mouth.
