Wednesday Walk
I'm lost with time as usual, and I didn't realize it's a #wednesdaywalk today (already Thursday as I'm writing this. π€). The kids and I started out late since there were lots of things to finish at home, including a few lessons in homeschool. And oh, yes, I tried to do some zumba but I did not last for 10 minutes. I was hoping I could do 20-30 minutes. Haayyy...
Anyway, we decided to go to the library today since we skipped last Friday and the Friday before that. It was nice and quiet because it's midweek and there were not a lot of kids. Fridays are usually busy even if the library opens late at 2.00pm because it's the weekend and a lot of students come here.
I have to remember to ask the kids which day they prefer to have our Library Day-- weekdays or Friday. I think they'll say, Friday, because there are more kids, but for me I like a quiet day like this.
We stayed at the library for almost three hours, and left at 5.00pm in time for the husband's time off from his office. The kids were already whining, like they were ready to eat me so I promised them that we will pass by our favorite shawarma shop after I withdraw some cash and we pick up their dad.
We passed by the grocery to pick up some stuff and since it was next to a park, I suggested we eat the shawarma there. The kids were more eager to go home at this time, so we just did.
The weather is already nice and cool and the outdoor is very inviting, I have to plan more outdoor activities for the fam.
It was only 6:00pm when we drove back home, but it was already very dark. The nights have definitely become longer here in the desert.
There's no more reason to stay glued on our couches at home-- time to get moving!
