Dziś miałem dzień wolny, a w zasadzie noc wolną, bo zamieniłem się z kolegą. On teraz za mnie pracuje, a ja będę pracował za niego za kilka dni. Skoro wolne to była doskonała okazja do ruszenia z teściem na wycieczki. Na początek pojechaliśmy do bazy wyrobić mu przepustkę, żeby mógł bez problemów wjeżdżać z żoną lub ze mną. Zabawnie wyglądał chwilę później, kiedy w sklepie na terenie bazy, z wielkimi oczami przyglądał się żołnierzom w różnych mundurach. A jak zobaczył brytyjskiego podoficera w mundurze wyjściowym to był gotów stanąć na baczność i salutować, bo myślał, że to jakiś generał :)
[ENG] Today I had a day off, actually a night off, because I swapped with a colleague. He's working for me now, and I'll be working for him in a few days. Since it was my day off, it was the perfect opportunity to set off on trips with my father-in-law. First, we went to the base to get him a pass so he could drive in with his wife or me without any problems. A while later, he looked funny in a shop on the base, with big eyes looking at soldiers in various uniforms. And when he saw a British non-commissioned officer in his exit uniform, he was ready to stand at attention and salute because he thought it was some general :)
Później odwiozłem żonę i teścia do domu, a sam pojechałem na trening. Zacząłem trzeci z planów przesłanych przez trenera. Tym razem skupił się na ćwiczeniach siłowych. O ile prawidłowego wykonania danych ćwiczeń mogę nauczyć się z YouTuba, to mam trudności z odpowiednim doborem ciężarów. Co prawda w planie były zadane konkretne wartości, ale dla mnie to było zdecydowanie za ciężkie. Szybko skorygowałem wagę w dół.
[ENG] Later, I drove my wife and father-in-law home and went to train myself. I started the third of the plans sent by the trainer. This time he focused on strength exercises. While I can learn the correct execution of the activities from YouTube, I need help properly selecting weights. Admittedly, specific values were set in the plan, but it was far too heavy for me. I quickly adjusted the weights downwards.
Wieczorem umyłem rower córki, który od przeprowadzki nie był używany. Dopiero po umyciu mogłem ocenić jego stan, chcę go zabrać w lipcu do Polski, żeby oddać dla bratanicy. Mimo tego, że tak długo stał pod wiatą to stan oceniam na dobry, jest kilka ognisk rdzy, ale na elementach wymiennych takich jak dzwonek czy sztyca od siodełka. A później pojechałem z teściem do Havre na wieczorny spacer wokół ruin zamku. On lubi takie klimaty.
[ENG] In the evening, I washed my daughter's bike, which had not been used since the move. Only after washing it could I assess its condition; I want to take it back to Poland in July to give to my niece. Despite having stood under a shed for so long, the state is judged to be good; there are a few rust spots but on replaceable parts such as the bell and the seat poll. And then I went with my father-in-law to Havre for an evening walk around the castle ruins. He likes this kind of atmosphere.
