This was another morning frittered away doing IT stuff. Trying to fix a TV streaming service so my wife's grandson can watch Bluey. Every 3 year old wants to do that. Took the whole morning - upgrade - update SW would not work - delete sone apps - still not working. BIN time. Now to find way to broadcast iPad to TV.
A bit late to do public transport - took the car to walk North Turramurrah side of Ku-ring Gai Chase NP. First flower up - sun flower - fitting on a day over 30C. Feels like more
Heading into mushroom season
First of the midge orchids showing. First of quite a few. This one seeded from the bottom - the top still showing
Tricky photo work. The flowers are small - maybe 4 mm across. Was windy and the labellum wants to flap
NSW coral heath flower close to the ground - less wind action
Leptospermum squarrosum - peach-faced grevillea - tea tree
Budding midge orchid - no signs of fringe. Too early to tell - maybe densum as the flowers are quite close together
Two tone pea flower
Banksia flower - leaves are serrated - banksia serratum. It is their season
A midge orchid ID challenge. The basic shapes suggests corunastylis ruppii. The tightly packed flowers suggests corunastylis densum. Both seen here in the last few days
Back to the easiest targets - corunastylis fimbriata. One of close to 25 found. Photo work is hard on a bright windy day - sometime just hope something is in focus. Flowers are tiny
A few samplers to test out the idea. Front on
Left side looking good
A bit stepped back. These photos tend to work water as there is mostly something in focus
Was holding of taking photos of the trar drop flowers. This one caught my eye as there was an insect on it. By the time the shot was ready the creature had jumped off the flower. Good news as it pitched up on the bud alongside - a cute baby spider- the black is it on the right
Brings to an end a Murri Road adventure - car ride home was welcome. Too hot to ride or walk
Made it home in one piece. My wife's grandson came over for a visit - fab times.
Did cook salmon sous vide for dinner with mash and peas
Felt more than am 8K steps day - walking in heat like that jazzes up the steps numbers
Did cook dinner - salmon sous vide
Did get a guide out for a new IM launch. Check it out at https://mclnks.com/ccashguide
