After a crazy long day of travelling with one quick stop to a hidden gem, the China Bowls in Cumberland, we pulled off for the night at Morris Lake in Tru Ruffing it style.
The China Bowls were awesome, a little treacherous but defiantly worth the 30 min walk in up mild hills. Not somewhere you want to bring the dog while exploring the attraction but the entire trail/road in is very well maintained.
The China Bowls
Found at the end of Sutton Road in Cumberland it is and excellent walk for even the newbie just wanting to take some pictures. Just keep your eyes peeled for motorcycles and mountain bicycles ripping the side trails 😉
Morris Lake Free Camping Spot
Ending up completely off grid stopping at a site that was full with very few other options anywhere near around we took the next best option. A little turn off of the road in to Morris Lake looked like it was previously a campsite so we set up for the evening.
Just a spot to eat hotdogs and kale salad, sleep and continue on our way to Port Hardy ✌️
