The chromatic effect of this evening’s sunset has renewed its suggestion, giving us again a show of colors.
Since Naples, during the Christmas holidays is blocked in traffic, I took the right bus to get to Barra station to leave for Naples via Circumvesuviana.
The buildings in front of the Circumvesuviana of Barra all have blind facades decorated with colorful murals designed by street artists that brighten the gray landscape of the degraded eastern suburbs of Naples.
All of a sudden we spit in the beautiful Piazza Amedeo and pass from the degraded suburbs to good neighborhoods of Naples in the center. These are also the newest construction areas of the city.
This can be seen from the buildings built in this area with architecture ranging from neoclassical to a more modern Art Nouveau style.
Today my walk is ruined by a fine drizzle that began shortly after I arrived at the beautiful and evocative via Bausan, an alley full of ethnic restaurants of excellent quality.
The fine drizzle gives me a tremendous annoyance but definitely does not disturb the man sitting on this throne.
At a certain point the rain becomes incessant and I am forced to back off.
Fortunately I can find shelter in the Franciscan church of San Pasquale in Chiaia where a mass is taking place and therefore I cannot make a photo visit.
Thus ends a walk choked by the rain and a train strike that prevents me from going where I wanted and I am forced to go home.
After the end of #poliac I now greet the friends of the new competition I’m participating in, the #macfit.
Today is the opening day and I wish all the friends participating to have fun and keep fit and #Alive.
