Today, I was very busy in my water leaf (Talinum triangulare) garden. Though mine is not a commercial garden, but waterleaf is a very lucrative business. It is lucrative in the sense that it generates a lot of income for the farmers. Those who are fully into the business, are really making money out of it. In the Southern part of Nigeria, particularly Cross River and Akwa Ibom States, water is used in almost all the soups they prepare. In the dry season it is always very scarce . People plant it and sell it to make a living
