Hey folks, after yesterday's hiatus, I desperately wanted to go back on my wheels and the weather looked good all morning.
When I was finished with work, dark clouds had formed agsin, but that wozldn't hinder me a second day in a row.
I started my tour through the Eilenriede and saw many fallen trees and torn off branches.
Some fallen trees were very close to the path and 10 minutes in, it started pouring down on me with heavy wunds accompanying the rain. I nervously looked up to the top of the trees, as they swayed and bent and creaked.
When I finally left the woods, I felt like Hänsel and Gretel, after they escaped the geriatric claws of the forest witch.
It certainly wasn't the best idea to bike on this stormy day, but I got my 20km + in and what don't we take on, to get a few AFIT token 😀.
