As forecasted yesterday, I got really busy with work today. I didn’t have the time to do Zumba today.
Still, I managed to do some workouts at home to keep active. I started with inverted rows with the help of two chairs, which really worked my upper back and biceps. I then moved on to leg raises to target my abs. This was a challenge since I haven’t been working with my core as much. I then did diamond push-ups making sure to keep the proper form to maximize the burn in my chest and triceps. Russian twists were next, I used a 1.25-liter plastic bottle filled with water as a weight since I don’t have dumbles. I ended the workout with dips still with the two chairs, focusing on keeping my form tight and engaging my triceps. All in all, it was a great full-body workout that left me feeling exhausted but accomplished. I'm already looking forward to hitting the gym tomorrow and seeing how much progress I can make. Stay consistent and stay strong!
With all the mental and physical stress today, I’ll be needing a good meal. So I prepared fried fish and sauteed string beans to help me recover.
