Do You want to stay healthy? I think everyone does. No one says, no, I want to be sick. Well here is a short 7 minute video from a doctor that provides a health plan for You.
The YouTube channel is Seth Capehart MD and he has 26K subscribers. Seth is an Emergency Room Doctor and former Special Ops guy. He is not selling books or supplements so he has nothing to gain. He is just laying out a good health plan, mostly aimed at men, which I will summarize.
As time goes by, 4 things work against you: Your mitochondria becomes less efficient at giving you energy, testosterone levels drop, inflammation creates stress, you lose muscle mass.
So what to do? First, increase and maintain muscle mass. Do strength training (lifting weights or movements using just body weight like squats and pushups) 3 or 4 times a week.
Optimize your testosterone. Get enough Zinc, Boron, Magnesium, Vitamin D. Manage stress. Sleep 7 to 9 hours a night. Consider TRT.
Try fasting. Fast 16 hours and eat in an 8 hour window only. Eat steak, eggs, fish, avocados, olive oil. Cut processed foods, seed oils, sugar.
Move daily! (and record it right here on actifit!) Aim for 10K steps a day (I got that today!) Play sports, swim (pool season is coming!) Keep moving!
My Activity
for today was going to the store to stock up on food, paper towels and TP. Walmart and Target are warning that store shelves could be empty again, like they were during covid, in just 2 weeks! PREPARE NOW! Buy and stock up on the things that you know fly off the shelves. Tariffs are real, and although they have been cut back a bit, they might flare again, so I repeat, BE PREPARED!!!
Here is a video which is just one source where I have heard about "empty shelves" coming. This has a half Million views and the channel has over 3 Million subscribers. Please BE PREPARED for anything!
At night I took a really nice walk in really nice weather. I went a bit longer than usual and managed to get 10K, yay!
I hope your weekend was wonderful!
Have a Happy Monday!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
