The granddaughter I provide nanny services for has a new puppy. So I, in effect, have a new puppy when she is at school. Her big brother (the former K9 officer who resides here) takes good care of her except he doesn't do potty training. π©
While granddaughter is responsible for feeding, cuddling, potty training, and accident cleanups, when she's at school grandma gets the job. So every hour or so we go outside to avoid the accidents.
In addition to breaking in a new canine, there's a new maid-in-training. I've written in the past about my adventures with Eva the robot vacuum.
Unfortunately Eva is no longer with us. We think the copious amount of dog hair, random hair scrunchies, pipe cleaners, shoe laces, and Barbie dolls coupled with uneven floors in this old house were just too much for her to handle.
The new robot, MoMo, is a bit more robust and full-featured, albeit much noisier than dear old Eva. He actually talks too. MoMo tells me when he is trapped, twisted, or otherwise in trouble with real words. His vocabulary is rather limited but he gets the point across.
Today's activity involved both puppy duty and robot rescue. But in between I also racked up some Actifit points on another new addition to daughter #3s household - a stationary bike. I'm not a huge fan (darn seat is so uncomfortable) but it's nice enough for something a little different -- for 3-4 minutes at a time.
