I started off the fitnessing today with jumping on the trampoline with the kids and seeing how close could I come to doing a legit front flip! I am not as good as I used to be, so I will need to practice. I was able to land the flips on my butt, but the foot landing was beyond me today.
I decided to go on a walk/jog. I have discovered a decent 5 mile loop in my neighborhood. I am starting to use it to track my progress. A lot of it is uphill, which means Ibalso get some downhill, but hopefully it all evens out.
It was going to be dark out, so I got use my awesome shoe lights. My kids have moved the other one to whereabouts unknown, so I improvised with some glow bracelets on one foot. It worked out really well.
At the end of it all, I was feeling g pretty good. I hooked up my normatec tonight to do some compression therapy on my legs. I am hoping thos will allow me to go out more often and hit it a little harder. I just don't want to overtrain or get shin splints.
