Summer is buzzing here in the Ozarks. Literally… the trees are filled with insects that never stop buzzing, chirping, humming. The humidity has been intense this summer, and the insects & mushrooms are loving it.
Within about 4 minutes of walking outside, 
It was a good though sweaty hike, lots of tiny new mushrooms growing everywhere and evidence of lots of wildlife.
Can you see it? So tiny!
I almost stepped on this poor little guy! I was too busy trying to swat the swarm of insects around my head to see what was right at my feet.
The mushrooms & fungi are everywhere. Lots more since last week.
