Today was just about the most perfect weather we could ask for here in the Ozarks, especially for this time of year. The temperature stayed below 80 Fahrenheit, the humidity was low, and the air was clear.
We took advantage of the weather and and I hit the trail with Mia the Wonder Aussie early in the morning.
It was a beautiful hike, and it was almost blissful to be hiking without a layer of sweat covering me!
Tomorrow is a big day for us, I’m taking our kiddo down to college to move him into his dorm.
I’ll be starting classes at the same University, so I’ll see him regularly, but while I’ll be driving an hour and a half to get to my few face-to-face classes (I’m mostly taking online courses for now) our son will be living there.
After raising 4 kiddos, we’ll only have our youngest left in the house with us. Bitter-sweet, to say the least. Amazing how the ‘good ol’ days’ fly by before you even know that’s what they were!!
All #photography in this post was taken by me, , with my iPhone6, of our #aliveandthriving #actifit #ozarklife. Thanks for reading! Now #gotakeahike!! 🦋
