We had a special company during today’s mountain hike - Freya. Freya is a young (1,5yrs) female dog of unspecified race, perhaps Laika. She did 20km and 1000m of elevation gain with my party.
Freya behaved quite well. She was on a long leash (tied by her shoulders and the other end was around her owner’s hips). She didn't pull to much, although she liked to be in front of my group and couldn’t resist occasional pools of mud. Otherwise, good girl she was. She didn't lag behind, she was interested in having arguments with other dogs we wet and ignored the barking of village dogs.
37k steps made today:
- keep me alive in August
- hopefully give a win in
Golden League
- make me more comfortable in the top 4 of
Super League
Great day and great hike.
