A young goanna on my second easy run for the day. I felt like I needed to stack a few extra mile up as my weekly average has dropped over the past couple of weeks.
I read a noise behind a tree while running on a single track path so I stopped for a better look, it did not take much to find this beautiful goanna climbing up the back side of the tree. I must have scared it. Those claws must be sharp to be able to climb a smooth tree so easily.
