Today I decided to get a long run in as I was up early and feeling the need for some Sun and fresh air. I put on a new shirt to try out and it help keep my sweat to a manageable level given the good weather early this morning. I surpassed the 6 mile range for the first time in a while. However, I had no impacts from the long run as I was able to walk another good amount to a local cafe to enjoy a breakfast.
I spoiled myself with a french toast breakfast but was pleasantly surprised on how healthy it looked as it used fruits and maple syrup which were much more organic than what I would normally eat back home. It was a good energy boost as I headed back to get ready for another full work day which is getting better as I fully catch up. Still plenty of things to do so taking advantage of the early starts for my fitness goals.
