This old power rack from my dad’s junk pile is super heavy in four pieces, but I was able to assemble the rack this evening after 
The rack was not assembled in my dad’s junk pile, and the pieces were scattered. I almost passed on keeping the rack, but a heavy duty playhouse/weight rack popped into my mind.
It’s a miracle that I was able to move the rack from the front yard weeds and over a fence and to the back yard.
I removed the rust around the bolt holes and painted flat black a few days ago, and I’ve been spending a couple hours a day moving the pieces around, grinding away the rust/ paint and deciding on the final design.
My plan is to make the giant rack into a play house and a weight rack.
It will have a roof and at least two levels for the boys to climb and play on. The foundation will hold my free weights and some tools.
