Before rain …….after Rain!😅
Silvertop had decided not hike the new trails for now, they were steep and extremely muddy and slippery!😲
That’s when Liz got the email from Lynne that they wanted everyone to avoid the new sections till the workers finished.
We are thinking they will put down a base material on the muddy sections.
With only a light rain these trails are OK, but we have had downpours that can carve a rain runoff ditch down the center of the newly excavated switchback trail!
Liz has been using her hiking poles, and I know she was having trouble going uphill!
Silvertop is in his element Lol, he’s a kid at heart!😇
So today as we climbed the High Trail, and followed South Pass Ridge, Silvertop snapped a couple of photos from up above.
Then we continued up the ridge, bypassing the new fork in the trail!☺️
“So many miles of new trails to explore so close to home Liz, the new trails will dry out …………. eventually”!😇
We are Blessed with many miles of private trails, connecting to thousands of acres of public department of natural resource land, Silvertop is always respectful!
Soon the rains will end…….😊
Till tomorrow stay dry, Silvertop Mike 😅
