With one more beautiful Fall day, Liz and Silvertop decided to do a “Road hike”!☺️
We were just over three miles away from home, when Liz spotted someone in a wheelchair!😲
The possibility of running into someone in a wheelchair is pretty slim on this mountain Pass Road ……….
As he got closer to us, we could see this was our friend from Church, Dennis!😊
This road is gently rolling on the section we ran into Dennis today.
Then, several miles ahead, it becomes a very steep descent!
It drops abruptly, and continues downhill like this for about a quarter of a mile!😳
Dennis came up that hill, and he needed to go back DOWN that same hill!
“Good to see you Dennis, how do you intend on getting back downhill?”🤔
“Silvertop, I just aim this wheelchair downhill and let it go as fast as it can go Lol!”☺️
Don’t try this at home, Dennis is a wheelchair professional!😇
We headed home, after telling our friend to be very careful!
“That’s an awesome cardio workout my friend!”🤗
“Liz, it’s a good thing Dennis has that flag waving above his wheelchair, at least cars can see him a ways out!”😊
