Hi Everyone,
I’m back with another Actifit Report and Update. It’s been really wet this year. It’s been keeping me stuck in the mud. Climbing into Hamlet the Happy Pig’s area is tough. Every step I make I sink ankle-deep in mud. Then lifting my leg up is a real pain. It feels like a hand grabbing and pulling me into the ground. The soil in my garden is unforgiving in the wet winter months. This has been particularly true this year with all the rain.
At least I live on a hill and not at the bottom of one. This has prevented our land and home from flooding, which is a relief. The biggest problem in my town and for most towns in the UK is the appalling drainage. It only takes a few hours of heavy rain, and the streets in town are flooded. I lived in both Australia and Singapore. They experienced far heavier rain, but floods occurred under much more extreme conditions. Poor drainage in the UK makes sense to a certain extent. It helps support the climate crisis narrative, which is struggling to maintain steam. The water sits on the land much longer in the UK because of the colder weather, short days, and lack of winter sunshine.
My Content
I’ve posted twice since my previous update. One post was my first Sapien Loop Quiz for the year. I’m still focusing on my new book, Sapien Loop Short Stories. The quiz has been running for six days, and only two participants have entered. This could be my least popular quiz/contest ever. The 30 Hive Power is not that attractive anymore. Sadly, the bear market may have only just begun. Prices could drop much lower. Tough times ahead.
In my other post, I discuss the left-right divide. This divide has existed for decades. About a decade ago, it appeared people were breaking away from the left-right ideology. Brexit and the creation of Trump were signs of change. The UK establishment has masterfully repositioned itself with the rise of Reform UK, and Trump has strongly pushed Establishment agendas through authoritarian domestic policies and aggressive foreign policies. I believe there is hope for the US, but it’s extremely slim. The UK is basically finished as a functioning nation. It would take a miracle to save it. The next decade will be painful.
To end on a more upbeat note, one of my Super Bowl predictions was correct. My fourth prediction of Patriots vs. Seahawks was accurate. Read my post for details on that one.
I wish everyone a great weekend and an awesome week ahead. I’ll be back soon with results of the first Sapien Loop Quiz of the year.
