Even though my legs were still hurting from last Saturday, I decided to give it a try and get ready for the half marathon championships in three weeks. I won't be reaching a fourth place like on the 10th on the track, buy I'll be happy with a good race already... It has been 4 years since I've been running an official half marathon race, so it's about time to get back. Let's see if I'm getting there with the mileage. Today was a good start with about 11km, even though they were slow and a recovery run, let's start to count... Another important choice will be the shoe-choice. In not sure if I'll try these new ones (Lightstrike) for the track (which I'm not allowed to use for official rfea track championships by the way, or if I'll take my old beloved Adidas Energy Boost 3. (What a pity they don't make these any more..!!!....)
