It's been quite a while since I did an Actifit post, or any other.
I haven't been that active lately because I've been recovering from covid and then the pneumonia that followed. I was in the hospital for 12 days and almost went on a respirator.
I was sent home with oxygen and I am off of it now after a month.
I think if I had not quit smoking 2 years ago and started exercising while taking vitamins and eating right I may not have recovered.
I finally was able to make it to the gym on Saturday, I did a very light workout just to remind my muscles it's time to wake up again. I have lost over 25 lb of fat and muscle and I'm going to get it back!
I went on my first bicycle ride on Sunday and did okay except for when I went uphill I had to get off the bike and walk, my lungs are only back to about 60% of what they were.
I'm going to keep my hopes up and work on my lung capacity, I'm hoping that it gets at least a little bit better now that the remains of the air pockets on my lungs from the covid or shrinking.
I hope you are all doing well and don't forget to keep eating right and exercising, it just may save you!
