A happy and hopefully healthy Saturday to everyone not stuck inside these crazy days.
Another day running mostly around the track at the high school not far away. Sometimes it's just easier to put in my miles circling around 400 meters at a time. Have to get out on the trails pretty soon to refresh my spirit and enjoy the opportunity to get out and enjoy nature while I can. Who knows if we'll all get stuck inside per government "suggestion".
Still nice to see a good number of people down at the dog park with their pups having a good time in the sunny weather.
Sure beats being out in the cold Winter weather we had not that many weeks ago.
Going to get back to logging my old running workouts from my high school and college days into my Sportracks electronic logbook. It's always interesting to look way back to those years when I was a youngster and fast training and racing was easy. Now I'm content to run slow but long and who knows what kind of ultra efforts I can do in my 60s - a hundred miles in 24 hours or less is my next goal (that is if any ultras are run this year!!).
My faster running days back with the Central Mass Striders.
Oh, a little suggestion to all the f*cling inconsiderate slobs here in Prescott- PICK UP YOUR TRASH ASSHOLES
