A long, but rewarding, day on the road transporting an old rescue dog to his new home.
Old Tippy's owner passed away and the family was ready to put him down. Fortunately a rescue couple here in AZ adopted him and today he made his way to his new home.
I was able to get in a decent 6 mile run early this morning before the long drive so it wad a good day overall. Not the best mileage by a long shot but I'll sleep well tonight knowing I helped another abandoned dog find a new home.
Dark clouds and thundershowers followed me home so maybe it will be a cooler day tomorrow.
