Off to Stanton today for some hiking and prospecting under beautiful skies and mild temperatures, which made both Lulu and I very happy 😊.
We only walked an easy and short mile loop early this morning before heading down south so that we could get to work early. For Lulu is was her morning potty walk and my get out and stretch my legs and clear my congested lungs walk.
No one else was out digging when we arrived in Stanton and the temperature was a certain comfortable 70 degrees instead of the 90 plus just a couple of months ago.
We hiked a couple of miles out and back along the top of the hills to check out potential spots to dig and get in our good number of steps then it was tome for me to get shoveling and hauling dirt while Lulu watched from the comfort of the car.
With the milder conditions it was a lot easier but the dust from my drywasher was annoying, so I wore a mask to keep the dust out of my already congested lungs.
All in all it was a great day out in the hills and maybe we'll camp overnight tomorrow for some more fun.
